The much awaited tablet is here finally, we all knows how the company
started, how they beg for crowd funding platform to get funding for is
tablet in 2013, and a year later they surprise everyone with their new
Tab, the device is already been ship to countries like India, Hong Kong,
United State, Australia, Norway,
Switzerland,
Russia in-fact all the European countries are feeling the presents of
this device, whenever i see this device it always remind me of some
thing and that is determination to make it, i remember how this Ex-Nokia
employees about six of them came together to form this great company
that am talking of today.
Though they decided to base the company in Finland, but since 2013 they launch their first smartphone Jolla the company have now launch again their pad to show all that they have come to stay. Inasmuch as the company is limited with small budget and how they went to crowd funding platform from Indiagogo to get funding for their tablet, people across all race who understood what the company can do really surprise them barely two days they were able to raise $1 million and without wasting much time they started introducing their stretch Goal if you ask me that will add new feature to their device.
The Jolla Tablet offers strong hardware specification somehow similar to the iPad mini that is the 2nd generation of iPad mini.
The screen size is 7.85-inch display with a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The quad-core is 1.8GHz that is Intel Atom Z3735f chipset coupled with Intel HD Graphics GPU. and is power by a 64-bit.
The device has 2gb RAM, 5megapixel of rear camera and a 2.0megapixel front camera
The Tab has 32gb and 64gb storage differently with both offering support for microSD card p to 128gb expansion.
The battery of Jolla is 4450mAh with WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 3.0, Micro-USB 3.5mm and A-GPS/ GPS connectivity options. The tablet has ambient light sensor , digital compass and hall sensor measuring at 203x137x8.3mmand it weighs 384grams.
The tablet runs on the company's homegrown Sailfish 2.0 which supports Sailfish app and also supports compatibility to Android apps.
