If you can still remember at the start of the year, rumors suggested that Samsung was working on a new line of smartphones aimed at the Chinese market. The new smartphones came with mid-range specs but a premium feel in the form of Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7.
It seems that Samsung is now working on new iterations of the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7, namely the Galaxy C5 Pro and C7 Pro. SamMobile reported that the new smartphones would come with noticeable improvements to the previous ones, especially when it comes to specs.
The Galaxy C7 Pro will carry the code number SM-C7010, while the Galaxy C5 Pro will have the model number SM-C5010. They’re expected to have a similar design to their predecessors, but, as mentioned above, the new models should come with more advanced specs compared to the previous ones, especially since they will carry the Pro moniker.
It’s quite unclear at this point if the smartphones will be released in other markets besides China. The Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 were only made available in China, without any plans of an international release.
